This is my latest quilt buy and if it looks pink in the pictures it`s even pinker in real life!
The other side is actually beautiful dark chocolate colour, but as you can see, the pink has bled through in a couple of places
This is typical Welsh quilting, medallion centre with geometric designs surrounding it and loads of spirals. It`s so eye catching and distinctive.
It`s hand quilted in a dark red thread which has a lovely effect on the chocolate side
I`m not sure how old this quilt might be, the fabric feels quite stiff, but it might simply have not been washed very much.
